The problem
What was broken.
Underwriting was happening in sprawling spreadsheets that took a senior analyst half a day to model and another half to sanity-check. Sliding a single assumption meant rebuilding the whole sheet. Junior team members couldn't safely touch the file without breaking a downstream cell.
How we built it
The approach.
We pulled the math out of Excel and into a typed Python engine, then put a live scenario UI in front of it. Drag a cap rate, the whole underwriting recomputes. Save a scenario, share a link, compare two side by side. The senior analyst now spends their day on judgment calls, not formula audits.
